# Limits

> The workflow limits in force for a project and what they measure now.

```ts theme={null}
const { limits, counts } = await client.limits.get();
```

`GET /limits` answers the limits in force for the project: steps per run,
step output size, run state size, event size, events per send, run duration,
concurrent and queued runs, schedules, worker connections, history retention,
the stream's look-back, how long a stream stays open and how often a stream
sends a keepalive (`workflows.stream_keepalive_seconds`: 15 by default, 0 to
300, 0 sends none).

`counts` is what four of them measure now:

| Count | Limit | Counts |
| - | - | - |
| `queuedRuns` | `workflows.max_queued_runs` | Runs waiting for a worker, delayed starts included |
| `concurrentRuns` | `workflows.max_concurrent_runs` | Runs a worker is running now |
| `schedules` | `workflows.max_schedules` | Schedules, paused ones included |
| `connections` | `workflows.max_connections` | Workers connected now |
